Suppose you have a stimulus that looks like this:
and you want to create a stimulus that consists of three
consecutive occurrences of the sequence that starts at A and
ends at B:
You can do this by using the MicroSim Text Editor to edit a
stimulus library file. Within this file is a sequence of transitions
that produces the original waveform. With the Text Editor you
can modify the stimulus definition so it repeats itself.
To add a loop
1
In the Stimulus editor, save and close the stimulus file.
2
Start the MicroSim Text Editor: In Schematics, from the
Analysis menu, select Examine Netlist (or Examine
Output).
Disregard the document that appears in the Text Editor
window.
3
In the Text Editor window, from the File menu, select Open.
4
Enter the path for the stimulus file.
5
Click OK.
