Note – You can set the IP filtering rules to the input packets, not to the output packets.
Applying the XSCF Network Settings
Command operation
1. After performing the setnetwork(8), sethostname(8), setroute(8), and
setnameserver(8) commands, apply these Network settings.
2. Perform the applynetwork(8) command on the XSCF Shell. When performing the
command, the network settings are displayed and you can confirm whether the
settings should be applied.
Note – When the XSCF Unit is in redundant configuration, ISN addresses must be in the
same network subnet.
3. Use the rebootxscf(8) command to reset the XSCF and to complete the settings.
XSCF> applynetwork
The following network settings will be applied:
xscf#0 hostname :scf0-hostname
DNS domain name :company.com
nameserver :10.0.0.2
nameserver :172.16.0.2
nameserver :192.168.0.2
search :company1.com
interface :xscf#0-lan#0
status :up
IP address :192.168.1.10
netmask :255.255.255.0
route :-n 192.168.1.0 -m 255.255.255.0 -g 192.168.1.1
interface :xscf#0-lan#1
status :down
IP address :
netmask :
route :

XSCF> rebootxscf
